Sri Pattabhiramachandra Swamy Temple Consecration Celebrations

The grand consecration celebrations of Sri Pattabhiramachandra Swamy Temple, constructed at J.S.R. Nagar in Porumamilla Mandal of YSR Kadapa District, will be held for three days on August 26, 27 and 28. Renowned Telugu film producer Dil Raju will attend the celebrations as the Chief Guest.

The temple was built through the initiative of young actor Vamsi Krishna, with the support and contributions of the villagers, donors, relatives and well-wishers. With a vision to create something meaningful and permanent for his native village, Vamsi Krishna took the initiative for this sacred project. Along with providing the land required for the temple, he also contributed financially and actively participated in the construction along with his family members.

What began as an initiative by Vamsi Krishna soon became a collective effort of the entire village. Donors, relatives and well-wishers extended their support, while the temple committee coordinated the efforts and successfully completed the construction with everyone’s cooperation.

The three-day consecration celebrations from August 26 to 28 will feature special poojas, homams, spiritual activities and cultural programmes. Free Annadanam (food service) will also be arranged for all devotees.

Along with renowned producer Dil Raju, local MLA Dr. Dasari Sudha, MLC Govinda Reddy, TDP In-charge Suryanarayana Reddy, YSRCP Additional In-charge Viswanatha Reddy, producers Sriramulu Jadapolu and Haimavathi Jadapolu, along with other public representatives, film personalities, village elders, donors, relatives and well-wishers, are expected to participate in the celebrations.

The organisers stated that the journey will not end with the completion of the temple. Instead, this marks the beginning of a new spiritual journey. They have planned to develop the temple as a permanent spiritual centre where Sri Rama Navami and other important spiritual and cultural programmes will be celebrated every year with the active participation of the entire village.

The vision of Vamsi Krishna, his family members, the villagers and the temple committee is for Sri Pattabhiramachandra Swamy Temple to become a spiritual platform that brings together village elders, families, youth and future generations.

The temple committee expressed its heartfelt gratitude to every donor, villager, relative and well-wisher who contributed their money, time, effort and service towards the construction of the temple.
